Need to enhance the tool which is used to export the STAAD model to SACS. Belows points need to be taken care when enhancingthe feature.

• Section properties created in staad using ‘USER TABLES’ are not supported

• RHS/SHS sections imported to SACS as concentric tubulars and not boxes.

• Member offsets set to fractions of an inch, i.e., 0.66” in SACS and 283mm in Staad

• Some prismatic sections created in Staad not imported to SACS

• No loads cases or combinations imported to SACS

• Material properties reset to American-imperial (ksi/in-ft etc) and not metric.
