Additional features for post processing _ SACS Python API

I am currently working with the new SACS API to automate the post-processing of analysis results and have noticed that several functions that could be very helpful are not yet available. These additional features could greatly enhance our efficiency for post-processing, which is a most time-consuming task

I would like to share my suggestions of these additional features:

  • Possibility to get and modify some additional data about members such as: Member Classification; Tubular Shear Area; Flooded condition, buckling parameters (Ly,Lz), X and K Braces special buckling parameters, and tubular member ring spacing.

  • Possibility to get load resultants. It would be very useful if we could get the Dead Weight table, the Load Case Summary Table and the Load Case Center Summary Table

  • Possibility to generate a report database file from several types of analysis run, for instance:

    • Dynamic analysis run, to extract natural period results.

    • Post processing analysis run to extract code check results.

    • Post processing analysis run to extract punching results, in particular to get the results of load UC punching and strength UC punching.
